Tuition Waivers and Financial Support

Participating students will pay tuition to their home institution with no obligation to pay extra tuition to the host institution. Tuition waivers will be guaranteed to all participating students unless otherwise noted. The participating colleges will provide financial aid for their home students (i.e. sending students). Per MOU among the participating institutions (see the attachment), each school will provide receiving students with a proper accommodation (e.g. dormitory rooms) and emergency aid (when necessary).

Counseling

To help students adjust to a new environment, participating colleges will provide them with orientation workshops, cultural trainings, language programs, and professional or peer advising on academic matters and campus life.

Internships

The participating colleges will provide internship opportunities to participating students.
At Seoul National University, students can seek internships and research assistantships at the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology (GSCST), Artificial Intelligence Institute (AIIS), and the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies (IPUS). Students may also seek internship opportunities at international non-for-profit organizations such as UNESCO Korea and government-supported organizations such as Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Overseas Koreans Foundation (OKF).

Rikkyo University will be providing incoming students from SNU, PU, and NUS with internships opportunities outside of the campus. Rikkyo will be prepared to offer the opportunities at such as Ricoh Japan Co., Ltd., and relevant business enterprises focusing on furnishing the Asian region.

For Peking University, according to visiting students’ administration regulation, visiting students are not allowed to seek internship outside the campus in order to avoid the abstraction from their classes and coursework. However, except for the internship, Yuanpei college will provide all the students including the visiting students with abundant opportunities of visiting famous enterprises, fieldtrips and other sorts of off-campus activities.
